In the last issue of A Little Bit of Anarchy, I wrote about how much your crypto accounts are worth on the dark web. This week, I’ll be highlighting how much your social media accounts are worth.
From the long list of online accounts we create, social media accounts are amongst the most vulnerable. It only takes one click on a malicious link to lose access to your social media.
After a hacker gains access to your account, they could use it in many ways. They may decide to con your friends and family out of money by posing as you, or they may pawn it off on the dark web to a willing buyer.
You’d be surprised at how cheap your account would go for on the dark web. 😃

Here’s What You Can Do to Protect Your Social Media Accounts
Do not click on random links on social media, in an email or a text message.
Regularly change your password and/or use a password manager.
Don’t use public Wi-Fi, and if, switch on a VPN when logging onto any accounts.
That’s it for this week. Stay safe out there! 😎
